Spring/Summer Suits
It’s true – a lot of fans look at my style and claim it to be most comparable to GQ. Honestly, I get it (kind of): A suit, jacket, tie, pocket square, slacks and wing tipped shoes take the cover nearly every month of the year. So, yes, my style is comparable to GQ but, I have to give a disclaimer: When it comes to wearing suits in the Spring or Summer, when temperatures are hitting highs of 70/80 degrees, things get a little messy – and the perfect GQ inspired suit becomes
I live on the very quaint and geographically blessed North Fork – where a majority of its open fields are occupied by wineries (some of the best in the United States) and beautiful beaches among many other scenic options. After running around to multiple appointments, I had the pleasure of visiting a bamboo forest close by – coincidentally wearing a suit, and let me reassure you, things got messy (as you can see). Between the humidity and walking outdoors, you bet I was ready to pull off my tie and suspenders and go for a hike.

So yes, in my eyes, there are ways of playing the role of a “GQ inspired, well put-together mess” all at the same time. Ultimately, regardless of how well your suit is ironed, a suit is fool proof. Don’t be surprised if you still look hot – because what you thought to be outlandish is only natural.
